T-Motor F60 Pro 2307 2200kv

blog

The T-Motor F series of motors has become one of the staples in the FPV realm, and has been through quite a number of revisions and releases.  The Pro line is a step up in the design, adding some interesting new features such as silver plated windings, better magnet layout, and larger stator sizes.  This particular motor is 2307, stepping up the game from the F60v2’s 2207, while keeping the same weight.  The motor is still a tad heavy, coming in at just over 35g, but given the stator size that is not really unreasonable.  Not much physically in the design has changed. The motor uses most of the same design techniques as the F40II, presenting a much lower profile and slimmer bell than the previous F60.  All-in-all this update represents some significant improvements to the previous F series motors. Parent/Child Project: Building a Backyard Micro Drone Track

blog

These are not your father’s R/C models! It is truly stunning how quickly radio controlled model technology has advanced in the last decade. Modern R/C equipment is far more user-friendly and affordable than the models of old, which makes getting into this rewarding hobby much easier than before. One of the coolest R/C models for new pilots to get into are micro drones. These pint-sized flying machines can fit in the palm of your hand, have protective covers over the propellers, and can be fitted with First Person View (FPV) camera/transmitter bundles. This allows the pilot, through the use of VR-style video goggles, to navigate the craft from the perspective of the drone. This is micro drone racing, one of the fastest growing race classes in the MultiGP Drone Racing league. More on multiGP.com
